Meet Regional Business Manager, Mark Searle.
I find that it is a great opportunity when people welcome you into their homes to discuss how they can develop and improve their living spaces. I take pride in seeing our finished projects that I have designed and helped to create for our customers.
Tell us 3 facts about you.
- When I was younger I travelled through Asia, Australia and Europe for three years.
- I competed in the Fastnet race.
- I am married with one daughter.
Do you have any pets?
I have one very old cat.
Tell us one unusual thing about you.
I once hitch hiked from Sydney to Perth.
If you could do one job, what would it be?
I have always liked the idea of property developing, for Grand Designs style projects – obviously I’d always be incorporating Marston & Langinger conservatories.
What do you like to do at the weekends?
Socialising with friends and family, oh and I like to explore new places.
What’s your favourite thing to do with the family?
A nice roast dinner on a Sunday afternoon and holidays in the sunshine.
Aston Martin DB9, traded in for a Yacht and a Skoda.
How did you get into the conservatory business?
I worked for a local window and conservatory company for over 15 years, which later also specialised in building work projects.
How long have you been with the company and what’s made you stay?
It’s been just over four years. The company is great to work for, whilst steadily growing it still has a family feel to the business. I also feel we have the best conservatory system I have seen in my time.
