Autumnal garland from Neptune.com
According to Plascon Trends, August’s colour of the month is Rooibos. Like the tea, Rooibos can vary in tones but it remains similar to a clay-like red providing a warming contrast to the British summer we seem to be having.
Rooibos is the ideal colour to start introducing into your home, along with terracotta red, warm colours will captivate the beginnings of Autumn. Begin by placing warm coloured items into your conservatory where the light is neutral and where the winter chill will begin to seep in.
Current trends prove that everything can work in moderation. Accompany your new Rooibos coloured features with plants. Rusted reds pair perfectly with cacti and pastel succulents. Plants will provide air purification and increase oxygen levels whilst de-cluttering your home creates a cathartic atmosphere.
Another colour to watch out for as we head into Autumn is Millennial Pink. Its pastel hues are working their way into most people’s wardrobes and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t start bringing it into your home. Why not incorporate the colour with some cushions or a throw? The colour will complement your Rooibos features and provide your garden room or conservatory with the perfect touch of warmth everyone aims to achieve.
