A beautiful Georgian cottage transformed

 Colour: Satin (RAL 7033) Size: 4m x 4m approx

We worked closely with planning officers to create the perfect kitchen extension for this beautiful Georgian cottage. The new structure utilises the garden space and maximises the kitchen/dining area.

To achieve planning permission, we designed the conservatory using low e-glass and argon filled units to improve energy efficiency. We also had to factor the removal of a chimney and the relocation of an oil tank into the design. The construction element of this project allowed us to introduce higher performance insulation to the supporting walls and a fully glazed hipped roof to enhance light ingress.

While the east facing conservatory catches the morning sun, by the afternoon the sun has moved round, meaning the structure does not need blinds. The main part to this garden is elevated, creating a view spot to look upon the conservatory, it proves an interesting and admirable feature to the garden.
